ARO44: Exceptional pots: the early Neolithic of Hillhouse Farm, Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire

Archaeological work along a pipeline route produced evidence of temporary prehistoric occupation from the Mesolithic period, and the preservation of an exceptional assemblage of early Neolithic pottery from pits, along with burnt flint, hazel nutshells and charcoal.
